Experienced business journalist, reporter, and philanthropist Elizabeth “Libby” Keatinge Scheideler founded the personal finance website FundsSavvy.com in 2018. Elizabeth Keatinge creates and curates the site’s content, which focuses on empowering women to take control of their finances.
Keatinge entered the field of business journalism after several years as a news reporter, anchor, and content producer. While working as an anchor for the New York City network NY1, she appeared on the Hamptons Magazine hot list. She previously provided on-the-ground reporting on top news stories, including the immigration crisis at the US/Mexico border.
A member of the National Association of Women Business Owners and the Society of Professional Journalists, Elizabeth Keatinge Scheideler undertook graduate studies in journalism at Georgetown University after earning a bachelor of arts in English from UCLA.
In addition to her broadcasting experience, Libby Keatinge has hosted fundraising events for national nonprofits such as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Deeply committed to humanitarian causes, she has volunteered in Cambodia to assist victims of human trafficking. Locally, she supports the literacy organization Change for Kids.
